Tomorrow, December 13th 2011, President Obama will sign NDAA Section 1031 into law, which will legalize US citizen’s imprisonment without evidence or trial. The text of Section 1031 reads, "A covered person under this section" includes "any person who has committed a belligerent act".
Obama has threatened to veto Section 1032, but NOT Section 1031. The so called Feinstein Amendment 1031(e) permits citizens to be imprisoned without evidence or a trial forever, if the Supreme Court does not explicitly repeal Section 1031.Watch the video if you do not believe what is going to become reality as early as tomorrow December 13th, 2011.
According to Senator Carl Levin, who sits on the Armed Services Committee as chairman, the Obama administration influenced the wording of the act and shot down text that would have saved American citizens from the indefinite imprisonment and suspension of habeas corpus.
