Watch Walking Dead Season 3

Season three of AMC’s hit zombie series ‘The Walking Dead’ is just around the corner for Halloween, and the audience at Comic-Con got a sneak preview this week. The trailer is four minutes and depicts walker-hunting, apocalypse-surviving action and drama that’ll  thrill the show’s massive fanbase.

Fans couldn't be more excited for the zombie-slaying Michonne (Danai Gurira) who made her formal debut on the series.

Fighting off zombies is no easy task and "Michonne kicks ass with a katanna sword," says Gurira. "The intensity level is incredible, we've got our cast inoculated now, the new people realize just what they're in for and the level that we expect and they've become just as passionate about 'The Walking Dead' as we all are."

Apparently, Rick adopted a more aggressive leadership style for the group after eliminating the devil’s advocate of the group — his former best friend Shane — and it looks to be paying off. The survivors have no choice but to trust him again.

The series expands — and darkens — its world by introducing two popular elements of the comic: the governor and the prison.
